| I
received a card from the Dharmapala Thangka Centre last week.
It is a pleasure to hear from you. I visited your shop in Kathmandu
several years ago and I bought several thangka paintings that
I treasure very much. I spent many hours at your shop before
I went to Tibet and when I returned I visited your shop again.
It was a beautiful and moving experience to spend time talking
to you and visiting the workshop. I am pleased with your website
and I will tell my friends about your exquisite paintings. Madeline

| I
like to thank Holm Triesh for the fantastic way he arranged
for me to buy a beautifull White Tara Tangka, with artwork that
made me feel like being in a Pure Land. He did a lot of work
advised on the buildup even payed for it in advance, all this
on trust and asked me only for money when he had the complete
tangka in his possesion. Of every step of the way pictures where
send as proof. When I payed for the tangka, the postman delivered
it the day after Holm Triesh received the money due to him.
The artwork is fantastic, never have I seen work this beautifull
and this are people who do exactly as they promise. And we have
never met in person. So if you want a real treasure instead
of some ready made product, this is the place to go. It is not
cheap but 20% of the profit goes to an nepalese orphanage, so
not only do you get a treasure, you make many people happy.
Thanks Holm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I
recently received 2 thangkas that I had commisioned from the
master artists at the Dharmapala Center. These are the 3rd and
4th thangkas I have purchased from the Dharmapala Center and,
as always the workmanship and attention to detail is extraordinary.
I am very satisfied with all of these thangkas and I look forward
to my next project with the superb artists of the Center.

| Very
nice indeed. I've been viewing Tibetan Art for nearly a decade
and am impressed with many of the images here. For me, the backgrounded
thangkas have many times more impact than the "standard". They
have more authority and are more suitable for a room which non-Buddhists
will frequent. I think the danger with highly coloured thangkas
is they can look a bit cartoony, like some of the airbrushed
Andy Webbers. | |

| We
just received our Thangka and it is truly beautiful! This is
the first time I have had the courage to order online, and it
has been a great experience. Holm has replied prompty to all
correspondence and many questions I had! We received our Thangka
very quickly, and have been so happy with the service and standard
of quality that we will purchase again. We are also very happy
at what the Dharmapala Centre do for the Katmandu Orphanage.
I was in Nepal for a while and loved the place, that was where
I first learnt of Thangkas, however the Thangka I received form
the Dharmapala Centre is even nicer than the one I purchased
in Katmandu. Cheers, Natasha, Australia
